I have sent to my marketing team to remove that our happy hour is no longer mulled wine as it has been changed. Hello Traveler, Thank you for letting us know the issues you experienced during your stay, it always helps to receive feedback as it helps better our establishment. Overall the front desk was rude and unhelpful with the exception of a man that was working there early morning on the 27th and the woman later on in the morning on the 27th. When we arrived back to the hotel for mulled wine, the front desk didn't know what we were talking about and gave us this terrible cocktail that other guests remarked as well was so bad. We were also texted by the hotel the first day that mulled wine was available in the lobby between 4 and 6. I was never sent a confirmation for my stay after booking and had to request one weeks before my stay. The room was set to an ungodly hot temperature upon arrival and we were unable to get to sleep the first night because of how hot it was even though we had shut the thermostat off entirely upon arrival. The shower dripped significantly the entire stay, the bathroom sink was clogged from the get-go and took over 10 minutes to drain if you would wash your hands etc. I usually don't leave reviews but this hotel stay tops one of the worst I've stayed at. Super disappointing and would not recommend. Walkability is great but the hotel staff was not warm, welcoming or helpful, they just seemed put out when I came in with a question or request. There is a mini-fridge but it’s filled with drinks and sodas (for purchase). Rooms are charming but minimally stocked - toiletries are mediocre. Our shower ran out of hot water after about 5 minutes. I had to follow up with the front desk and ask for them directly. I did, and I received a prompt response that toiletries would be brought shortly to our room except they never came. I was told I could have toiletries refreshed (at no charge) and to just “text the hotel number”. Our bathroom sink wouldn’t drain and I had to go to the front desk 3 times to get them to finally get it fixed (I was put on a list and forgotten?), housekeeping is NOT included (it’s an additional $20) which is not noted on their website and that information was not shared with us, I had to ask on our third day (they will provide clean towels and empty the trash but you need to put in a special request). The front desk staff seemed like it was their first day on the job or in town, completely uninformed and provided little to no information at check-in. To be clear, it is not a hotel but a refurbished motel, the name is deceiving. I would definitely credit the marketing, website and photography to why I booked at this hotel but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations.
